  • Write off any uncollectible receivables, labour, or expenses, as directed by PIC.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, as directed by the Financial Controller.
  • Prepare special project analyses for the PICs, PMs, and others as required.
  • Provide year-end support of auditor requirements, which may include research and reconciliations.

Project coordination and management support

  • Support the translation of project financial requirements through all phases of a project, ensuring adherence to financial standards and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the PM or PIC to set financial priorities, establish and maintain a work schedule, and proactively report on job cost control and financial issues.
  • Contribute to the project risk assessment process by proactively identifying and communicating risks, as well as mitigation strategies, to address project-related financial concerns.
  • Assist in the development and updating of project quality plans to effectively manage project finances, including phase milestone reviews.
