What we’re looking for:
KPMB is seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist to join our team. This role ensures that our office runs smoothly and efficiently by providing exceptional front desk and administrative support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with initiative and a friendly demeanour.
The role’s primary focus is ensuring all visitors and calls receive a warm welcome. You are also responsible for coordinating shipping/receiving, office supply management, and additional administrative tasks. On an occasional basis, you will assist in event coordination to support various company activities and initiatives, which may require working evenings. Ultimately, you will contribute to KPMB’s positive image and the efficient operation of our office.
Select responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, including clients, vendors, candidates, and industry stakeholders. Manage inquiries and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier (shipping and receiving).
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces, including maintaining office common areas (reception, mailroom, print rooms, employee lounge, and meeting rooms).
- Assist in coordinating meeting room bookings, room setup, catering, and cleanup.
- Manage inventory coordination of office supplies, including communicating with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Assistance in event planning, organization, coordination, and cleanup
- Support other departments with administrative tasks when required.
Candidate profile + qualifications
- Minimum of one year of work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or in a similar role
- Previous experience in event coordination and planning is an asset
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with AV system troubleshooting is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary range:
Compensation starts at an annualized base salary of $50,000.00, commensurate with experience.
Transportation and bike storage:
A daily free shuttle bus between Union Station and KPMB’s office is provided for all staff who use the subway system or GO transit, from Monday to Thursday. Underground bicycle parking is also available.
